When Did Your Babies Change From A Crib To A Bed?

I just found out that I’m pregnant with my second child. My son is only 14 months and is, of course, still in his crib. He’ll be 23 months when this baby is born and I think that is still too young to be in a toddler bed, isn’t it? Should we just buy another crib? Anyone else in this situation?

How old is it safe for babies to be put to sleep in there cribs? Im getting so many diffrent answers. I also have hearing monitors and the Angel Care heart/movement monitor so she will be safe in her crib.

My son is now 14 months old. He is just getting over RSV and he has been sleeping next to me propped up on a pillow. I would like to put a pillow in his crib to keep him elevated. Raising the mattress doesn’t work because he rolls to the opposite side. Is it safe to put a pillow in his crib at this age(14 months)? I personally don’t see anything wrong with it but I was wondering what the recommended age was for this?

She’s 7 months old and probably very soon she will be able to pull herself up. Checked the instructions w/ the crib and if you lower the mattress you have to remove the front rail b/c it turns into a bed then. Well I can’t do that so is there anything I could put over the crib to insure her saftey? Like how the have baby nets and such even tho a net won’t work lol is there anything out there to help this problem or will I have to just buy something else? It’s a simplicity crib if that matters.

She will be born in july of this year2007. My house is 3 houses away from a main street where there is a cemetary. I already have 3 mirrors set in my living room facing the cemetary to relfect back the negative energy. I found the bed set I am planning on getting and you can buy the bumper seprate. Do people still use bumpers in the crib for newborns? For a while I thought I heard they were unsafe but if they are selling them I am assuming they are now safe? Any insight?
