It is entirely up to you. They are safe in a crib from day one, although some parents (especially nursing mothers) prefer to have a bassinet close to the bed for easier access for nighttime feedings. I put my first son in a crib at around 3 months because that was how old he was when we moved, and since we already had a crib I didn’t see the need in bringing a bassinet that we would only use a little while longer. With my new son, he is 5 months and still sleeps in the bassinet at naptime sometimes. It is entirely up to you to decide when they should go in the crib

It’s up to you. Babies can be safe in the crib right from the beginning but they should be in your room. It is recommended that babies under six months of age sleep close to you in order to reduce the chances of SIDS.

All three of my baby’s slept in their crib from day one. Regarding safety issues – there are some rules to follow and this is any place that the baby sleeps
Always put the baby to sleep on it’s back
    No stuffed animals
    No bumper pads
No blankets – use warm sleepers
    No pets in the bed
Use a mattress that fits snugly into the crib
    Breastfeed
the newest one is to use a fan in the baby’s room

She can sleep in her crib when you feel comfortable enough to put her in her crib. For some parents that’s from day one, for others(like myself) it’s later on down the road. We finally put Noah in his crib when he turned 4 months. This was when he was sleeping well at night and I felt comfortable enough to have him out of our room.

Ok for one Baby after they are born and come home should
1 . Sleep in the own Bed.
Reason : 1 so you dont for get there there and lay over on Him or Her.2 because later you will have problems getting them into there own bed.
    2. NEVER put the baby to sleep on it’s back
Reason :1 If they are a sleep on there back and though up the chances of them choking to death are very high.
    2. Never put a new born baby on its tummy the chances of Him or hersmotheringg to Death are Very high as well. By putting a new born on there sides you not have to worry so much about them two things above. But lison to your self on what you think is right not someone elses.
    3:I Agree No stuffed animals
4: No bumper pads Dont agree nothing is with them they help the babys in many ways like not hitting there head and body also it helps keep there legs inside of the bed so they do not get stuck in bars.
    5. This is stupid >>No blankets – use warm sleepers
Ok let me ask this to you use Nice Warm sleep ware when you go to bed and if so when you go to bed do you or do you not cover your self with at least a sheet or a blanket to keep warm. trust your self. They say if you think its cold out side and you put warm clothing on your child needs to also.
    6. I do Agree No pets in the bed but unless you have a cat or something that clims this is stupid. Like your going to walk in there and put you dog into your bed or the childs crib.
    7. I do Agree Use a mattress that fits snugly into the crib.
    8. Ok yes I do Agree on Breastfeeding BUT Only if you can it does not say you have no choice but to do this. Some people just cant Breast feed. Like I tryed but couldnt.
    9. Im very lost on this one .the newest one is to use a fan in the baby’s room. For one only and I mean Only use a fan if its hot hot. If you use a fan all the time you can make your child sick. Because the temp can drop around him then when off the temp will go up.
My best answer to this question is do what you think is best for your child if you think he or she should sleep in there bed then do it. If you think sleeping on there back is safe then do it some times its best just to lison to your instinks not other people. I have two wonderful kids. And yes I lison to people tell me how to raise my kids and what to do if they have a cold but does not meam I do what they say. Some times its good to trust your self…Hope this helps and Good luck and God Bless you and you little one .

Some people say you can do it from day one, but its safest to wait until they are 3 to 4 months old and have them sleep in a bassinet by your bed, that way you are more aware of what they are doing, they have been inside you for 9 months it seems mean to ship them off to their own room immediately

  7. Megyvett says:

day 1, well the day they come home from the hospital
edit: maybe i was misinformed, i dont see why putting a baby in their crib from day 1 would be UNSAFE.. whoever gave me thumbsdown are retarded

  8. Landon's Momma + baby GIRL! says:

Whenever you wish to place them there especially with your monitors. I was scared at first so I waited about 1 month and the transition was no problem despite my anxiety.

  9. Jaiden's Mommy says:

As soon as you bring them home, especially with both of those monitors.

  10. Vr says:

    The first day.

  11. mermaid says:

my son slept in his cot (crib) the first night we came home (his second night in the world) there is no difference except that they’re larger. She’ll be fine you will hear her don’t worry.
